A Christmas Carol in Six Immersive Acts
Guests will travel by bus through time and across Natchez as Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol unfolds in six acts, each performed outside of six historic homes: Propinquity, Sweet Auburn, Hope Farm, The Briars, Ravenna and Holly Hedges. At every stop, local actors will present another scene from the story, carrying guests through Scrooge’s complete journey from his cold Christmas Eve to his joyful redemption on Christmas morning.
Following each act, guests will enjoy a brief walk through of the home, decorated in the Christmas traditions and period appropriate to the era in which it was built. The result is an experience that brings together live theatre, historic architecture and the changing traditions of Christmas across generations, allowing guests to move through both Dickens’ story and the history of Christmas.
Fezziwig’s Christmas Party
Step into the warmth and merriment of Fezziwig’s Christmas Party, held beneath the trees of historic Memorial Park in the heart of Natchez. Inspired by the joyful celebration in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, the evening will be filled with festive food, Christmas carols, vendor booths and the generous spirit of an old-fashioned holiday gathering.
Guests can stroll through the park, browse the offerings of local vendors and enjoy an evening of food, music, laughter and fellowship. It will be a lively celebration of Christmas past, where friends gather, carols fill the air and everyone is invited to join in the merriment.
Carols by Candlelight
Inside the breathtaking beauty of historic Trinity Episcopal Church, guests will gather for an intimate evening of Christmas music illuminated by candlelight. Surrounded by soaring Gothic arches, stained glass and one of Natchez’s most beautiful sacred interiors, the audience will experience beloved carols in a setting that feels timeless, reverent and filled with the spirit of the season.
Carols by Candlelight will feature Dr. Sadie Goodman, whose portrayal of Jenny Lind was one of the great highlights of our Spring season. Her extraordinary voice and captivating presence left audiences enchanted, and we are thrilled to welcome her back to Natchez for this special Christmas performance. In the glow of Trinity Episcopal Church, her music will bring warmth, beauty and wonder to an unforgettable evening.
